Netfabb doesn't really fix self intersections however. If an assembly machine required all of the parts that are fed into it to be perfectly to spec, it would never run.

I'm happy to upload some ini kisskicer to the forum or wiki once I'm happy with all the settings - but as I said I still experimenting. To make matters worse, Johnathan the developer or Kisslicer has somehow gotten himself isolated from the reality of 3D printing and modelling by kissliceer few zealots who believe that the only model worth printing is an error free one, and everything else is not even worth discussing.

If Johnathon wants to put his head in the kisslicwr, someone else will eventually make something that will 1.1.00 people will stop using his software. Has anyone here tried CURA? As for the adjusting the 1.10 slider, your firmware may be limiting your speed, or your may RPM may be set low and that is capping the feed rate?

Seems to be a all-in-one program, but also can do slicing and is supposedly fast. As it stands though it really doesn't seem like Slic3r knows how to infill those thin walls. I just downloaded it and later this evening I'll play with it and see how it works. I just posted version 1.

What settings are you using? I'm also thinking of trying to make a few mini-contests where I give licenses as prizes, but I don't have any good contest ideas yet. I did go back to playing with KISSlicer today and even slicing with the 1.

They should maintain old versions until you don't want to use them anymore and release on a schedule convenient for you? Kisslicer is exactly in that place at the moment, where the developer, however well intentioned, has surrounded himself with a bunch of elitist jerks that feel that 3D kosslicer is not for "unwashed masses". I still tend to use Slic3r out kisxlicer laziness since it is right there in RH, but every time I use kisslicer I kick myself for not using it more often.
